Amazing Madame Midnight Zoom experience: what we found out!

So our online Zoom experience was a lot of fun - and a big old experiment. We’ve always co-created our shows with the community in which it’s going to happen, but usually only once we have the beginnings of a script. This is the first time we’re co-creating a show from the start.

We’ve loved working with Chris Rolls of 64 Million Artists, the ‘everyday creativity people’ to design and deliver an online event to get people thinking, talking - creating. Our quest master invited participants to explore their pasts, presents and ideal futures. He says, “Great evening running a workshop for Fireraisers with 64 Million Artists and Polly Wiseman, co-creating our best futures. Amazing creativity, sharing and moving how everyone is craving connection: to others and the natural world. The future is ours to create. " Huge thanks to everyone who participated: it was a privilege to hear your hopes and see what you created. We’ll be looking at all the ideas that came up in this workshop and exploring some of them further. We know that the climate crisis will be a major preoccupation of this show: also the idea that we’re aren’t helpless hostages to fate: we can design the future we desire & the community we deserve. Ultimately, the show will become a kind of outdoor treasure hunt in the Sussex woodlands next year.
